Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

We only ship with in the United States excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

Depending on the item(s) you purchase on AudioIkon.com and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods will be available. Each shipping method has its own restrictions and charges that will be applied to your order.

At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). Shipping costs are dependent on the items in your order and the shipping method you select. Your total shipping charges will automatically compute during checkout prior to the completion of your order.
You will be provided with the total shipping cost for your order during Checkout.

Generally, you will have the option of upgrading your shipping method for faster delivery (such as Three Day Ground, Second Day Air or Next Day Air service). If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by 12:00 p.m. (noon) PST or your order may not be processed until the following business day.

Note: Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

Return Policy

All products sold by AudioIkon.com are brand new, first quality (never seconds or "knock-offs"), brand name merchandise. We do offer factory reconditioned items, the condition of those items are marked as "factory reconditioned" on their product page and they all offer a limited 90 day warranty.

No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. To request a Return Authorization Number please call customer service at 1(412) 701-1735 or send an email to support@AudioIkon.com.

The cost to return merchandise to AudioIkon.com for refunds, exchanges, warranties, and DOA products is the sole responsibility of the customer and any charges, taxes, duties, or fees associated with the return shipment will not be reimbursed. The cost of return shipping can be equated to the cost of driving back to any local retail store to complete a return.

Standard Return Policy for Refunds and Exchanges. Products can be returned for refund, exchange, or merchandise (store) credit within 14 days from the original ship date. All items being returned must be shipped freight prepaid and double-boxed with the Return Authorization number displayed on the exterior of the shipping box.

Merchandise must be new, unopened, uninstalled, and in good condition (with no rips or writing on the original manufacturers packaging and documentation) with all originally included accessories to be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Associated Fees. All returns for refunds are subject to a restocking fee of 15%. Shipping charges are non-refundable. This includes shipping charges that were originally waved due to a promotion and the shipping cost incurred on return shipping to AudioIkon.com.

Fee Exceptions. Customers are not liable for shipping charges if the incorrect item was shipped or if an item has been damaged/lost in transit by the carrier. Refunds for lost or damaged packages will be issued after a claim has been filed, and approved by the carrier and AudioIkon.com has received final confirmation of payment.

Refund Eligibility. Merchandise must be new, unopened, uninstalled, and in good condition (no rips or writing on the original manufacturers packaging and documentation) with all originally included accessories to be eligible for a refund or exchange. Refunds will be issued at the price paid on original invoice (less any restocking fee and shipping charges). If no invoice/receipt is included with the return, AudioIkon.com will issue credit at the current selling price or the price at the time of sale, whichever is lower.

Limitations on Refunds. If a returned item is accepted for refund, due to being DoA or other pre-approved exceptions, but did not accompany all its original parts, accessories or documentation (i.e. remote controls, wire harnesses, warranty cards, manuals etc.), it will be subjected to a charge for the replacement of these missing items. Items returned physically or cosmetically damaged or abused will not be accepted for credit or exchange.

Warranty Policy

All products sold by AudioIkon.com are warranted by the manufacturer or AudioIkon.com. The warranty description at the end of the product features on each product page will define the type of warranty offered.

Manufacturer Warranty Policy. Products for which AudioIkon.com is an authorized dealer are sold with a manufacturers warranty (usually 1 year) as described by the manufacturers warranty card included with all new products. If these items are found to be defective, they may be returned to AudioIkon.com for replacement within 30 days from the original date of purchase with proper return authorization provided by an AudioIkon.com representative. After the 30 day time period, products must be returned to their original manufacturer for the remainder of the manufacturers warranty period. Warranty details for each product are included on the warranty card provided by their respective manufacturers. The warranty description at the end of the product features on each product page will define the type of warranty offered.

This warranty is voided if specific serial numbers, product stickers, or manufacturer seals have been removed, broken, altered or tampered with.

Notes:
  • If defective product is repaired, it will be returned in the same cosmetic condition in which it was received.
  • If a store credit must be issued; charges for missing parts or damaged packaging will be deducted from amount credited.
  • Replacements are available for a limited number of manufacturers and are provided at the discretion of AudioIkon.com.

Whats not covered:
  • Misuse, abuse, defacement, physical damage of any kind, and improper installation / operation.
  • Video and multimedia equipment with damaged or cracked screens.
  • Subwoofers and speakers are not warranted against being blown, burned or abused.

AudioIkon.com defines speaker/subwoofer abuse as, but not limited to, burnt voice coils (blackened, no continuity, melted adhesives, coil separated from the former, etc.) punctured or damaged surrounds, broken speaker terminals, bent, chipped or broken frames, ripped spiders or damaged back plates.

Submitting items for warranty in any of the above conditions will result in refusal of any associated warranty requests and return shipping will be charged to have item returned at customers expense.

AudioIkon.com shall not be held liable for incidental loss of use, installation or removal and re-installation charges associated with defective or returned product. Products that have been improperly installed may not be covered by this or any other warranty. Products damaged due to improper or inadequate packaging when returned are not granted warranty coverage.

Limited 90 Day Refurbished and Open Box Warranty Policy. AudioIkon.com will honor a 90-Day limited warranty on products labeled as "Refurbished", "Factory Reconditioned", or "Open Box". These products must be returned to AudioIkon.com and not their original manufacturer. All warranty claims must be made through AudioIkon.com customer service by e-mail support@AudioIkon.com or by phone 1(412) 701-1735

Speakers and Subwoofers Warranty Policy. Speakers and subwoofers that have been installed by a certified professional and have been found to be defective can be returned within 30 days of the original ship date for warranty replacement.

Additional shipping costs may apply and the assessment of such costs is at the sole discretion of AudioIkon.com.

Speakers and subwoofers that have been abused or misused are ineligible for warranty replacement. Abuse and misuse as defined by AudioIkon.com includes but is not limited to:

  • Blown Woofers
  • Burnt or blackened voice coils
  • Melted adhesives
  • Coils lacking continuity or separated from the former
  • Punctured or damaged surrounds
  • Bent, chipped or broken frames
  • Worn or Broken terminals
  • Frayed or disconnected wires
  • Ripped spiders
  • Damaged back plates.
  • Speakers and subwoofers that have been abused or misused and are considered out of warranty will be returned at the buyers expense.

Dead on Arrival (DoA) Claims. Claims must be submitted within 7 days to be eligible for a replacement or refund. Professional installation receipt documentation is required for all dead on arrival claims. Some manufacturers have no replacement warranty and can only be sent for repair.

Return Shipping. The cost to return merchandise to AudioIkon.com for refunds, exchanges, warranties, and DOA products is the sole responsibility of the customer. This cost can be equated to the cost of driving back to any local retail store to complete a return. AudioIkon.com is not responsible for any shipping costs associated with these returns.
